It sure don't run like a fusion though. 460hp 420tq. If they'd put that in a fusion I'd buy a fusion.
New MKZ's with AWD have 400hp/400tq just Livernois tuned mine so it's making closer to 450/430 (to the crank, like the Mustang) if it wasn't for the weight, holy cats. I like the look of the 15-17 better than the front of my 18, looking forward to seeing what Ford cooks us up for the refresh.

2014: omg the S550 looks like a fusion!

2017: omg the updated S550 looks like a fusion!

2019: it looks like a fusion!

It’s almost like cars from the same manufacturer have similar looks to them
Hmmm
Also I remember when the fusion came out every one thought that it looked like an Aston, so there are worse things to resemble than a fusion considering where it's looks stem from. At least it doesn't look like the 19 Camaro

Nope but the V6 sport has 325HP, not shabby for a 4-door sedan. Now where's that blower at...
No need, it already has two hairdryers, just turn up those bitches to high.

My personal favorite would be this bumper, that would reimagine the 2015 styling. But it's just a rendering I made a while ago out of fun and nothing that will never happen

That's what I did. I had a 2015 SHO and that thing hauled even before the tune and exhaust work. Those TT V6s will surprise the crap out of you in big old sedans when you push the boost a bit.

'15-'17 Nose with the '17 V6 rear bumper and '18 taillights would be my perfect Mustang. The '18 nose took a little getting used to.

Hackett the Hatchet will solve the Fusion problem soon when they stop making it. All Ford cars will look like the Mustang once it becomes the only one they make.

One thing that I'm not sure works with the new design, or maybe just render, is how close the turn signals are to the headlights. Moving them closer seems like it would make them harder to see at night, unless the headlight on the side of the indicator in use turns off. Doing that seems an unnecessary complication, though.

I feel like most turn signals are right beside the headlights on most vehicles? Maybe that's just older vehicles.. it's not really something I've paid too much attention to. But I know for example my wife's focus and my Tiburon they are right on the corners beside the headlights.

I did look at the OP render shot again, and for some reason thought 'sports' eye black marks. lol

I have seen that on a lot of cars in the past, and it always bugged me. Mercedes had a car that actually split one lens for both the headlight and the turn signal, and it was really hard to see. Somehow, I think on the sides of the headlight vs. above or below isn't as problematic.

I think the brighter LED lights might make it worse than it used to be, and I've seen a number of cars that even turn off the DRLs when the turn signal is activated.

I like the job you did. As others have said, I am not totally sold on it, but it's not a bad look.

As for the other models or vintages of the mustang, they all have their charm, and they all have their little quirks that some will love, and others will...not love. That's a personal preference and it's a good thing. We all tend to love the car that we own.

ACE, I love your render on the red one you posted, but I wonder if the lower openings on either side of the bumper are a little to a BMW sport package. That said, they look nice and aggressive, plus they have plenty of room to draw air for either additional radiators or to duct to the brakes.
