That’s a depressingly good point.
What was your primary reason for picking the PS 4S over the others?
I didn’t like the Cup 2’s on the short drive from the dealer home and the PS4S were the #1 ranked tire by Tire Rack’s buyer surveys.

I was in the same boat is @Mikepol2
Didn’t have a reason to keep the sport cups as they don’t have a long life span and I wanted the best street tire which seems to be the ps4’s. I did go up to 325’s in the rear because at the time I ordered, michelin had not released the 315’s yet

I picked up the car in the detailing bay and while driving it slowly through the dealership parking lot, I could hear the Cup 2's picking up gravel and pinging it off the fender liners. I was leaning towards getting rid of the Cups anyway and that sealed it.

Thanks for that insight.

I do understand that sometimes a narrower tire will perform better based on the width of the rim, aspect ratio, application, conditions, weight of the vehicle, etc... but are you saying that you would have picked 315s over the 325s if they were available?

325s seem to be right at home on 11" wide wheels.. They're only .2" taller, supposedly weigh almost exactly the same (according to tire rack). The 325s are a little more expensive but they should also have some traction benefits...

On one hand I’m confident the engineers at ford know what they are doing so I would have been inclined to go with 315’s. On the other hand, I love the look of the wider tires in rear and like you said 325’s fit the 11” wheel perfectly. It’s not like they are a poor fit and bulging over the lip of the wheel. I think either way you are fine. I can’t imagine the extreme cornering you would need to do in order to be able to tell the difference between the two.

That's another reason I didn't pay for the larger wheels and pre-balded sport cup tires.

Here’s a couple more!
The wheels look excellent.
I see you have yet to peel the yellow/green sticker yet. What is that thing for? Is that the tab for a protective layer of plastic? I haven’t had a chance to test it out yet. :)

Is that like forgetting to zip your fly or forgetting to close the fuel door after gassing up? 😁

Quick question- seems like nobody is worried anymore about fit with this package but have you noticed any rubbing up front? What is your suspension set up?

I see your note in your signature but I’m not familiar with how this handling package differs from stock PP1

Threw them on…I really like the wheels but they don’t have the same impact that they had when I saw them on the Mach1. Still, I expect that they will grow on me. :)

I may hold onto my SVE SP2 wheels for track use. They’re significantly lighter! The rears with 325/30/19 (a slightly wider tire) is 12% lighter than the M1HP wheels with the 315s.
