So I am in the market for an aftermarket intercooler and had 2 ideas...Wanted to see if anybody has any thoughts on this.
1st idea was instead of upgrading the intercooler, buying a 2nd stock intercooler and adding it to the original stock intercooler. Theory being, I double the time the liquid spends in the intercoolers and increase the surface area by 2. Any down sides to this?
2nd idea is buying an upgraded radiator. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but the intercooler receives coolant from the radiator, so if I cool the liquid more effectively in the radiator, then the stock intercooler might be sufficient with the lower temp fluids?
Any and all input is appreciated.
