So Rousch says the 5.0 with 12:1 CR with a 2650 blower will only do 710/610.

This is warrantied too.

The 5.2 with 9.5:1 CR and strictly port injection will be around 720-730. The documents is making sense to me on the HP side of things, but we all knew that anyway.

So why the Rousch news? Because they co-develop HiPo models with FoMoCo and Ford would not allow them to overshadow the new 500.

To sum up: the 500 will see in the 720-735hp area and no more. That I’m certain of.

You're reading way too much into that. The power will be based on what the transmission and axle can reliably handle, and what it can cool. That's outside of emissions certification. The blower will be very similar to the Gen 5 Whipple.

Except it's top-mounted intercooler and the screws are in the valley, like the newest Whipple.

The Hellcat engine also does this.

1. its not going to be 3.0 blower.
2. Except I'll bet they use the TVS 2650 rotor pack thats a top mounted intercooler and the screws are in the valley just like the 2550 Edelbrock kits.......... LOL Just saying.......
3. Inverted does NOT equal whipple.....
4. VMP and Roush Both use the 2650 Rotor pack too but they are top mounted.
5. So again the TVS 2650 is already used by Edlebrock, VMP, Roush and Id be shocked if Ford doesnt use it aswell.

Please read again. The word "like" was used, twice. Jesus man, you own the licensing rights to the TVS 2650 or something? What would make Ford Performance compelled to use it? I'm not saying they won't (and it very likely is) but man you're either a Whipple hater or something like it. Strange.

The previous 500 didn’t have the 1le or hellcats to compete with. This time is different
I certainly agree that the 1LE is a great competitor for the upcoming GT500 but certainly having a hard time imagining a Hellcat being a direct competitor?

Even putting a 2014 GT500 and a 2015 Hellcat on a road course (let alone the upcoming 2019/2020 GT500) and it would not even be close even though the Hellcat has another 45 HP but being a real porker at ~600 pounds heavier than the last generation GT500.

When the new GT500 comes out I can't imagine the Hellcat being even mentioned in the same breath from an overall driving experience.

All this talk of how ridiculously heavy these cars have gotten seriously makes me consider picking up a '14 gt500 and throwing in a full Griggs Racing suspension. That would subtract another 250 lbs and make it an absolute track monster, outclassing all of these cars for substantially fewer $
