2020 hood studs

has anyone had the hood off of one of these, or know the layout of the hood studs. I'm hoping they have a head or shoulder inside the hood. I put a strut kit on and when I torqued the nuts down I felt the stud give a little right as the wrench clicked. seems to beholding so far but it may be an ordeal if the hood ever has to come off! also watch the washer hose if you put one of these on, while I'm watching the hood end for clearance the hose got smashed between the hood and the fender end of the cylinder. minor relocate and still works with no leaks Jim

The washer line is a known issue when installing struts. No idea on the studs, my struts went on with no problem.

Ummm....

You might want to be very careful with how tight you’re trying to torque the nuts on those studs - otherwise you’ll be posting a thread like this next:

Hopefully the give you felt was not the stud cracking...

Thanks cobra jet. the link shows a bolt head, that makes me feel a a little better. hopefully it just turned a bit, finally got nerve to grab it with vise grips and pull on it and it held. time will tell. Jim
