2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 1

Only thing I can think of that could be delaying the car would be maybe the CF dash or Recaros.

I have a base with technology package and black roof and I've been pushed. No Recaros. No CF dash. No Performance Package.

Yea mine had been put back 3 weeks as well and I dont have recaros but do have tech. Pack, performance Pack and carbon dash

You guys are all fortunate compared to us folk that have to wait until spring. I won't see mine until at least April.

Hmmm.... A cosmetic item? I think not...

As you mentioned this is not a cosmetic issue but more a situation whereby the FRAP is backlogged with the Aviator and Expedition problems that is causing most of the backlog production scheduling issues.

I would suggest that most of your are overthinking the reason for your cars being pushed out from a scheduled production standpoint at least that is my opinion based on previous experiences when working with the FRAP.

Based on past experience when production starts back up for these cars next Spring I suggest that you will be fortunate to see your car by May or June but really hope that I am wrong.

I would hope the engine team builds engines every day during the winter and banks them for chassis install so they can fly off the assembly line come March.

Update- Called FP today and talked to Noah. He said my car has been pushed back all the way to 10/28! My original build date was 10/7, I then was pushed back to 10/14, and now 10/28. He claims this should be the last time they push these cars back and that this should be my actual final build date. Sucks I got pushed back almost a month As I was one of the earlier manufacturing dates from the start. I am curious if others that originally had mid-November build dates are going to be pushed into the spring production run because of these delays.

I got same news!! I was originally a 10/9 build. I’m now at 10/30 build day. I was told same thing about any further delays. With most push backs we might still be an early build! Lol

I’m going with PP0001, we’re probably over thinking this. The Aviator, and Explorer repairs are the main set back. In all honesty though, I got pushed from 10/9 till 10/30 build day, 3 weeks. Those guys with the original November build day might get a 3 month push back. I’m guessing those post won’t be far off.
