2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 1

@geoking George, have you tried returning the oil catch to whom you purchased it from? I also picked one up prior to getting my car. When it was confirmed that it was coming with the handling package, I called Levittown and they took it back, no questions asked. I only lost the $15 it cost me to ship it back to them. @LevittownFordParts is one of my go to places for OEM Ford parts, they are simply great.

Great idea. I paid $369 with a discount coupon that was cancelled the nex day. They probably will be happy to get it back. I just sent an email to them requesting a return.

If that doesn't work for you, I bet you can get all of your money back because of how little you paid for it. If someone buys it from you, they will get it much cheaper than can be found online.

Then why hasn’t he explained Noah who works at Ford Performance and is extremely active here with all forum members has misinformed me? And I’m just the messenger per Noah and hell like anyone here I’ll take the answer Noah is soo wrong and my vin is around the corner and my car is built in February

Not sure what to think, When I talked to Noah a few weeks ago he told me vin in January and built in February early March at the latest. After seeing what was said about shutdown earlier I called and he said no vin yet but check back in a couple weeks and that the conversation would be much better.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see

It may be a while before you see a VIN. Because of the bumpy production start to the 2020 GT500's, they still have a lot of issued VINs that have not gone to production as planned. So it may take awhile for them to burn through enough existing VINs to justify issuing new ones. I hope I am wrong, but I don't think I am.
I would love to have a VIN assigned to my car, but like everyone else in my position (Unscheduled/Material Hold), we will just have to wait and see what happens next.

Dealer delivered car on NYE in an enclosed trailer to my shop. It’s beautiful and exceeds all my expectations!! Too bad it will be months before I can drive it. Thanks for all the all the updates and tracking... Heres a peak. Front splitter is not on yet bc I didn’t want it damaged in transporting... Heres a few pics!
