2019 Mustang Orders Placed Thread (Vote/Share Here)

I believe some people are back to work on Monday the 9th, but the actual production line I think doesn't open back up until the 16th according to the Blue Oval Forums. I think for cars that have already been produced there's a chance to see some movement next week, but could very well be radio silence until at least the 16th. Sounds like it could be a long month lol.

Well, at least I've got plenty of distractions planned until it's ETA. Got a full week this week that ends early with me co-hosting a local Motorcycle Rally from Friday till Sunday. Leave that rally at noon Sunday and ride my bike 1,200 miles by 4 pm the next day (Toronto). Get a nights sleep and then ride two days to Des Moines (several museum stops along the way, etc.) for another rally and then take an easy ride home (2,100 miles over 5-days). That will get me home just before my projected ETA week which also holds my high-school reunion and my 65th birthday. If it all comes together great. If not, I'll take the pieces that do fall in place and adjust to the rest. ;)

I just talked with Chat too and they also said delivery between 6/30 and 7/6. When I said that clearly won't happen since the car hasn't shipped yet, they said that with the new model year they often hold cars for additional quality checks and sometimes don't ship as soon as they're produced. I think especially for us Bullitt orders, there's a few new and unique things and I have a feeling they're doing extra quality checks. And with the plant shut down until next week, I wouldn't expect any movement on orders until next week, especially on Bullitts. The 4th of July holiday in the middle of the week probably doesn't help things either :/

I was told to expect this by my dealer back in May/June.
Mine, however, was updated in the last 2 days and had the EDD moved forward 4 days from July 12th to July 8th for a car that was finished on the 28th.

Still shows awaiting shipment, but the destination is just over 200 miles from the plant.

Are these new COTUS dates from today or previously (a few days ago)?

My COTUS report is still showing EDD as 7/30 as of just now. Spoke with Ford directly last week and they said the car was still in production and showing them an ETA of 7/24-7/30.

The 2 week slip in my date happened sometime early today. I checked last night and it was still 7/21 per COTUS. Checked this am and it changed to 8/5. Although COTUS always gave a single day, Ford Performance always gave me a range of 7/15 - 7/21.

Well the "muscle" is made in Canada. ;-)

The engine, from what I understand, is built in Canada, and the car is assembled in the US.

Surprised to see a Canadian delivery of the finished product before a US delivery though. Might have been something to do with timing of rail cars etc.

Yes, and they bumped up my EDD to 08/04, so still have a chance of getting it for the long weekend.

So definitely a chance you may get it.
