2019 mustang gt pp1 digital dash cluster

I have a 2019 auto mustang gt pp1 and had a regular dash cluster. I just installed a digital dash cluster and it works good the only things is that I need to change the miles and the pony button on the steering wheel doesn’t work but all the other buttons on the steering wheel work but when I change the drive mode to track or sport the display does chance I just can’t access any of the dash settings is there anything that I have to do or does it just not work ?

It's not just plug-in-play. You'll likely need ASBUILT changes using something like ForSCAN. For the mileage, there are vendors that will re-program it for you. I believe ForSCAN can roll the miles forward, but not back.

Your best bet is to get information from someone that has already swapped it. Maybe shoot a message to @breeves002 , who likely knows much more than I.

Use FORscan to roll mileage forward. Breeves can roll it back or a dealer can too but they’ll be hesitant or unwilling unless you can prove the current mileage.

@breeves002 can also help with programming your buttons but I believe he needs the parts to do so. Not sure on that.

A dealer cannot lower miles. They have no ability to change miles at all through normal Ford channels or Ford software.

I recently purchased a 2019 GT Premium Convertible with PP1 and the 10sp auto and I am considering doing a 401A digital dash swap. I am just now getting into the research necessary for my comfort level to even consider doing this. I saw some kits on Amazon btw $600 & $800 dollars (vs Fords kit at $2400+/-). I have no idea if that's too good to be true or just a really good find. I have also watched several YouTube videos on how to do the swap and so far everyone says it's a simple plug and play. All you have to do is set the milage. Again, too good to be true? I'm not interested in a swap where everything works "except". Like I said, I'm just getting into to this so any voices of experience out there would be appreciated. I also have a 2016 GT350 that I would love to do this too if it works on the convertible.
