Did a digital dash upgrade on my 2019 GT Premium everything seems great no issue, but i recently came across a couple Youtube videos where even on the Manuals they showed the GEAR the car was in, does anyone have that ForScan info? Would anyone that has 2019 GT with digital dash be willing to share their As Built Data so I can figure it out? Thanks

Update: so the setting im looking for is typically found as follows... under the Setting Wheel, Display Setup, Tachometer Display, currently on my digital dash its not showing, i only see under Display Setup.... Measurement Units, Temperature, Tire Pressure, ect.

I had a digital cluster installed in my 2016 6-speed and it also does not show the gear.
Thanks for confirming, since there seems to been Real Digital Dash Manuals that show the gear, would be interesting to look at there As Built data if there willing to share

I would send a message to breeves002, he and my buddy Dave where some of the early pioneers of the conversion.

Thanks, sent a note, just an update, the option i'm looking for is under the Setting Wheel, Display Setup, Tachometer Display, currently on my digital dash its not show, i only see Measurement Units, Temperature, Tire Pressure, ect. So it feels like the Menu needs to be enabled, Looks like in the menu there is a 3 options, RPM, GEAR, NONE, so seems the default As Built data is set to none.

Oh and I know that if my battery dies or car resets, I have to manually go in to get the tach, otherwise it’s blank

Here is my car, so if I hit the Tach, it shows up, if I select gear, it’s blank.

I think were honing in, if I use forscan 2.3.33 beta in the ipc module they have a display tach value (disable , enable) and what that gets me is this in the pics below, so I'm still hunting down the actual menu you have. Do you have you ipc data? What other options did you car have before the digital dash upgrade?

I have a California edition. Pretty much came with every option. The only options the car didn’t come with is the performance package. But I have BLIS, cross alert traffic, shaker pro, etc.

I don’t have the ipc data. My friend is the one who did everything with forscan.

Random- ive seen this issue before, I read something about the one thing people have to get used to, is there's no gear indiciator for 15-17 who did upgraded digital cluster, I read a couple threads on it on Facebook at some point. never saw anyone post any answer, other than it wasn't possible.

there was no rev match in 15-17 so no pickup at the trans to detect which gate was being entered. QED nothing to feed to the dash.

So, still lost on my issue then, because 1) i have 2019 Premium 2) Can't figure out how to get the menu to even select it. Anyone else have some ideas?

How does the IPC know which gear MT-82 is in? I don’t think there is any feedback mechanism within the MT-82 to perform that function.

Edit: As noted above, apparently there is a sensor to support rev matching for '18 on up...
