Hopefully the dealership will get you squared away on this. Can you shed a little bit more info. on how the car is used (i.e., road racing, or drag racing with high rpm clutch dumps)? I have a 2019 Bullitt and have to say, this is a bit concerning to hear about something like this.
those are the broken clutch springs, you can see what they are supposed to look like in pic 5. Was told a rivet came out of clutch housing and broke the spring and everything else.
Maybe it was just a fluke. Will the dealership be replacing the clutch with another factory unit or will you purchase an aftermarket one and ask them to install it?
Ahhh… didn’t even realize those where the clutch springs because I was more focused on the jagged edges of metal and the scoring on the inside of the bell housing.
Who wrote “look here” on the flex plate?? The tech?
