I doubt they discontinue the GT350 after 2019 with these new upgrades. It’ll prolly be a 2 year run.

Seeing as these have the Cup 2s, and there still aren't ordering books, I imagine we won't see orders being able to be put in until perhaps Oct or so, with builds starting in April timeframe (if warm enough).

I think I read some where that the cup 2's on the 2019 are a different type cup 2 tire used in previous years and therefore can be driven safely on the street. If so I assume they won't crack if left out in the cold below (its either 40 or 45 degrees can't remember which)

I'm really interested to find out about the balance between grip and tread life on these new Cup 2s designed for the GT350. I'm not ready to start running the GT350R tires, but these might be a good upgrade for me.

I'm guessing they'll still disappear pretty fast too on the street.

Two year run after starting the 2019 MY production? Just because of the sight upgrades/changes?

Sorry for the confusion, I meant the GT350 will hopefully be produced for 2019 & 2020. Also I think the tread life will be pretty similar to the R’s Cup 2 tires. If you compare the tread patterns of both tires they look almost the exact same. The only difference I’m seeing is the height (30 on the R vs 35 on the 19 GT350)

I feel you there, I'm saving to afford a brand new regular one at MSRP, and with the upgrades it's coming with, like the sound system which I'd get if I were getting 2019+, would probably be like $2-3k, making the total price like ~65k, which I can't afford at the moment otherwise I'd get an R at msrp. If 2020 would be produced then I'd just get a 2020 when my lease ends in 2020, but I don't think it's going to happen so I think I'm going to be placing my bets on a slightly used 2017 some time this year. Just have to find one with decently low miles and a good color (and well kept), and then I can transfer my lease to a friend/family member. I see a Ruby Red right now in Norcal with like 4k miles for 51k, but I'm not too sure about Ruby Red :(
