I posted this in the DCTMS sponsor section as well... I don’t know if I am the first to try it, but I can confirm that this 2015 wheel DOES NOT fit as a replacement on the 2018. My ordered 2018 arrived yesterday and I traded in my 2015... tried to swap the wheel last night... everything worked fine up until I went to snap the air bag on after bolting the new wheel in place... the air bag alignment holes on the new wheels are in different locations than on the old wheels and there is no way I see to make it work. It’s possible that you could swap the air bag with one from a 2015 I guess, but better check the 3 electrical connectors first because they seemed slightly diffferent than I remembered in terms of size than I remembered.

That is a silly change to make by Ford unless its a different airbag being used now?

It is different, confirmed in multiple other threads.

Yes, check out the sticky regarding swapping the 2018 digital dash cluster into a 2015-2017; all of the info is there about the steering wheel too if needing detailed info.

Sorry to ask again, but I just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly because I just purchased a flat bottom steering wheel from CJ Pony Parts for a MY2018 GT. So none of the 2015-2017 steering wheels will work on the 2018 mustangs? Or is it just an issue with the DCTMS steering wheel? I could've sworn I saw a post where someone said that they had confirmed the steering wheels from LMR and CJPonyParts would work on the 2018 models, which is why I ordered one when they went on sale, but perhaps I was just high on something.
