What do you mean? You didn't realize you were buying a PP car or just the number? We just acquired 2019 GT350 PP001. Performance Blue with white stripes. Did not realize what we had until I just checked today.
One of my favorite combos.Well I'm the new owner of PP001. I had been looking for a 18 orange fury and stumbled across this one Friday. I traded in a 10 speed 401a 18 premium pp GT and while working the trade numbers sombody put a deposit and was told the car had sold. I got a call this morning from Sam my sales rep who informed me the deal fell apart over the weekend and she was available again. I got in the car and made the two and a half hour drive from Florence to see it. Well after crunching numbers and a test drive she followed me home. I would really love to see any information anyone has on th car as I'm going to be doing more digging around. When I got in to head home the navigation had several address saved. The first being Roush industry and the second flat rock assembly plant 1.
yea, same question and how much? What do you mean? You didn't realize you were buying a PP car or just the number?
Interesting to note that for the 2018 MY Ford and the FRAP decided to assign their very first GT350 Pilot Production car with chassis number "PP001" and now note that your 2019 GT350 Pilot Production car came with chassis number "PP0001".We just acquired 2019 GT350 PP001. Or maybe they did it in your honor?Interesting to note that for the 2018 MY Ford and the FRAP decided to assign their very first GT350 Pilot Production car with chassis number "PP001" and now note that your 2019 GT350 Pilot Production car came with chassis number "PP0001".
Over the years I have found that Ford has a tendency to be quite inconsistent when it comes to assigning Pilot Production chassis numbers for various Mustang models from one model year to the next.
For example all of the regular Pilot Production 2012 Boss 302 and 2012 Laguna Seca models were all lumped together in the same chassis series for that model year namely "PP0001 thru PP0012".
Then the following year namely 2013 Ford decided to issue a separate chassis series for the regular Pilot Production Boss 302 cars and another chassis series for the Pilot Production Boss 302 Laguna Seca models with the regular Pilot Production cars starting with "PP0001" and then the Laguna Seca cars starting with "PP001" therefore they seem to be all over the place when assigning chassis numbers to the various PP Mustang models.
Too funny but don't think that is happening anytime soon!Or maybe they did it in your honor?
how else can you explain it? All the other examples are always two zeros. You know enthusiasts that work at FRAP are also members here. I just wish I knew the guy who worked the stamping machine. I still have that blank R chassis plate.Too funny but don't think that is happening anytime soon!
