Thanks @mmacoyote Very interesting. I'm glad to see more than one option. I put up some of my craft beer verticals for sale to accelerate the fuel system purchase. We'll see what happens.

Didn't take the car out yesterday, I backed it out of the garage, washed it, and put it back.

Here's a cold start vid:

Pypes Catless LTH
Krona Performance 3" Stainless Catback
3“ stainless pipe and Torca sleeve butt clamps to connect headers to catback

The catback is exceptional. I like it a ton and the customer service was great, good discount as well.

Yeah man! You found me, haha

The latest tune that PBD sent has had no hiccups. No CELs, no stalls, the car starts and idles great, a little rich at idle but thats fine as long as it purrs! I have a few logs that I need to review, but don't expect to find anything bad. It's cooling down week after week around here. I'm not sure I'm going to get the fuel system and smaller pulley on before snow. I just had to put a new roof on the house so fun money is tight for a bit.

No, there's no need. Everything can be programmed aftermarket or the car has it (like line lock). I'll be doing the normal BMR setup for suspension. Springs, Vikings, cradle lock out, etc.. The only help I would get from drag mode is the magnaride control, but I have no magnaride.
I use Drag mode on the street, ha. It gives me super aggressive upshifts and then coasts down to stop lights like it is in normal (or neutral) mode. Reminds me of my GT 500 a bit (if auto were a such a thing). The track mode is super non useful around town as the down shifts are way too aggressive. I look at track mode like you look at DRAG mode....whats the point. When i take it to the mountains or find a curvy road i am going to be using the paddles to hold gears where i want them ANYWAY. Drag mode however....seems to manage acceleration better than i would at the paddles and gives me the option between a better throttle response vs. the normal mode. It also leaves TC full engaged. Not criticising your choice just saying i really am glad i sprung for the 301A. I am sure you are going to use the paddles at the strip anyway.]

Nice drag car by the way, love the updates detailing your challenges and successes...keep them coming

Rear drag wheels are in. They weighed in at 20.1 lbs. Keep in mind, the purpose is budget drag setup :) Can't wait to load 'em with rubber!!

What are the specs on these rear wheels? I see Motegi makes two different offsets in the 17 x 9.5 size, 25mm and 45mm. Which did you go with?

Took the car out yesterday for the first time in two weeks due to vacation. It was a very brisk cars and coffee. It's getting pretty chilly around here which means the car season is coming to a close.

Not sure what I'll accomplish before snow or over winter but my mind is racing around all of the part installing I can do :)

Maybe suspension?

Messaged my local track and it sounds like they're done with test and tune for the season. So no track times this year. I may contact a speed shop and just get a base line dyno run in, wouldn't hurt.

Went out for the first time in the Mustang with the Mexico group. Only got one dig race in which was a loss, nevertheless I had a good time despite Mexico being around 40 degrees..thus the shaky camera work because I was shivering!

Yeah you can hear on the video that one of people there comes up to me and tells me he's fast and gets out of the hole quick. That's right before I mention I still have 30 psi in tire pressure in the drag tires :cwl: We both spun. It was a blast either way.
