Nice one, TN! We've seen the renderings, but never the actual clay models

Do not like the gap between the car and the road--looks like it's ready to go rallying. Really nice otherwise.

This one I believe

Yep, thanks Dary and Topnotch...those are the ones. I think we'll see something similar to that gauge cluster for the driver and maybe something else.

Man, trying to stay current with these cars is impossible. I swear the S550 is still a new design to me and a revision is already in the works. I'm not sure if I'm more happy for the evolution of the vehicle or more sad that my "new" to me Mustang is growing old and dated so quickly.

Is MY18 production likely to start in June 2017, like MY17 did this year?

that's the trend with technology, and sales.

they push the best and greatest all in the name of sales. There's truly no need to push revisions / rehash / new models as often as it is. Look at the germans and luxo Japanese brands, they don't do anything for at least 7 yrs on a build.

MY18 is a face lift on a new model that's only 2 yrs old by the time they start production June '17.

I would assume yes...maybe even sooner if they feel the '17 MY has run it's course (if sales are down waiting for refresh). They definitely cut the '16 year off a few months earlier (maybe to get the models on the lots in early summer vs late summer/early fall).

Being in Australia, where the expected wait time for the car is 12-15months, it makes it a bit uncertain which model I'll receive! It will either be built as a MY17 with a MY18 refresh having just been announced or going to be, or if it takes long enough, a MY18. Part of me wants the car ASAP, but another part thinks that if it's gonna take that long, a couple of months extra for the MY18 would be no big deal. I know that some people pushed back their MY16 dates to get a MY17 here.

You could wait till the refresh is revealed and then decide if you want that or a '17 since the reveal will still be a month or two before '17 model sales stop.
