Ordered mine on 11/10 and received my DORA on 11/15

Have an estimated build date of January 16th. Should have my car sometime late April hopefully. Still isn't officially on sale here in the UK as Ford has so many unsold 2017s. Hoping the dealer demonstrator arrives sometime before mine so I can at least have a test drive.

Well, delivered does mean delivered. Got my call early this morning and made it over to the dealership shortly before noon. Car was being prepped while paperwork was completed. It's now safe, sound and DRY, in it's new stable. Did not get in much driving today, however, I got enough to know that the wait was well worth it. Mine is an EcoBoost, so I can't address all the fast features. I will note that the 10A is a super smooth automatic. The digital dash was a wise choice as I love the Sport setting look. Was very happy to find all the extra dash/color settings when I hit the 'pony' button. Safe and Smart is an excellent package, a definite upgrade from what came in my '16 MKX. So much to learn. You will find this car worth the wait!!!

Congrats! Mine is getting close to the scheduled date, think I should be getting a window sticker any day now.

yesterday i was looking at a 12/26 del date, 19 days to go, expecting it to 18 days today.

well i refreshed it and it now shows edd of 12/22 and 13 days to go. not sure what happened or if it will still be unloaded and to dealer by Christmas, but wait and see i guess.

im going to dealer today to see if i can get rail car number.

12/22 makes much more sense than 12/26 imo, I really doubt they'll be able to deliver the day after Christmas. Same for mine as well, I really doubt they'll be able to deliver two days after new year's.

So I got a call from my dealer telling about the order delivery and I finished their sentences as they explained things


"Car will be built on... Me (12/20)"
"Car was delayed because...... Me (Factory Shutdown in October)
"Car will be delivered..... Me (Jan 12 per COTUS)"

They said well even though COTUS says delivery on 1/12/2018 what that really means is that it will be delivered anytime the week of 1/12/2017-1/19/2017.

Better get it moving soon!
