Put me in the "hate the front end" camp. I do like the quad tip rear valence though, I know what I'll be ordering from tousley ford when it hits the parts system.

One thing I do like, anyone else notice that PP car is wearing michelins instead of pirellis? Hopefully this will help put down some better numbers when going up against the 1LE.
the front end looks like shit!!!:tsk:

Same old song and dance every time a new model/refresh comes out. :headbonk:

I want to see it in person in a darker color like black or magnetic.
Plus the power output and interior details like sound system etc.

Once it is out, it will make the current model look like yesterday's news! (Like most refreshes)

I'm excited for new info!:headbang::ford:

Summarizing :

- guys waiting for '18 love it because they don't have a choice and they're screwed
- '15-17 owners hate it (most of them) because they don't have a choice either - they're stuck with the old model so they'll be hating on new one (it'll get worse if it turns out '18 gets more power)
- rest is waiting to see it in person.

Everything is normal :)
How is anyone waiting for the '18 screwed? You can just go out and buy a '17 if you don't like the refresh. Best of both worlds.

But yes, everyone should wait to see it in person because in person vastly different and colors make a huge difference on any car.

I can't tell the difference except the slanted front headlights and fog light
Well that's the big change, other change is the hood...look closely...no more giant bulge in middle and heat vents moved in some and slightly different hood lines. Back different is angled lights and new fin (don't like the fin)

It might grow on me, but right now those headlights and front bumper look goofy.

I like it all! Nice refresh. Is that a halo ring on the headlight?

These lines are just baffling to me. Anyone else feel the same?

Looks to be a bit of Jaguar in the front end...as others have mentioned.

Rear looks good...I like the wing. Reminds me of the GT350R.

I remember not really digging the S550 so much when it came out, but really loved it when I saw it in person. So, I will reserve final thoughts and opinions until I can see this car in the flesh, too. A better colour, like silver will also help show off the new lines...

Overall, I think I like this...

My opinion is unbiased since I don't own the S550. The '15-17 started to grow on me way after its introduction, not because is ugly but because it departed from the retro masculine design. I always thought the 2015-17 was a beautiful design, but this 2018 front is damn ugly. I really doubt my opinion changes when I see it in person.
