They have ECU code readers you can buy on Amazon, you just then have to research and find what the code means. Yes, I'll reply back with any significant update the dealer gives me.
Odd that both our cars are very new and I'm guessing probably share the same fuel system. I'm going in for oil change October 7 and will have them check the computer in more detail to see if it could have been anything else as well.

For config 3, how do you remove the plastic underneath the hood, the drip tray if you will in order to just have the mesh plastic left above the hood? Do you need to remove any screws or just pull? Thanks!

Good info. I suppose the whole point of Blue 242 or new treated bolts is to keep the nut from getting loose and losing it's torque value, assuming I understand this correctly.
Hmmm, your right about not having any real difference, but for peace of mind I might just stop by a Ford dealer and pick some new ones up. Can't be much.
