2018 GT MyColor Cluster Swap?

I've got a base 2018 GT (300A), but I want the MyColor cluster. I have some questions:

1. Will my current mileage appear on the new cluster, or is mileage stored in each cluster?

2. Does the MyColor function need to be enabled with FORScan, or is it simply plug and play?

I'm looking at some used clusters for this swap.

I've searched the forum and Google, but can't get any definitive answers.

Mileage is stored in the cluster. You can raise it easily with forscan, but not lower it, so make sure to get one with lower mileage than you have now.

I installed a my color cluster in my 17. Unfortunately the my color did not work. I don't know if there is a setting I needed to change because the tach also did not work. I sent the cluster back. Now I'm a bit leery of trying again.
