I've got air box out of my 2018 gt, and noticed this connector that looks like it's run to a few wires in a loop and insulation... Or maybe just a dummy plug? It's mounted to drivers side fender well.

It's the next plug after the maf if you follow it over.

Thanks

It's the "dyno plug". Disconnecting it completely disables all traction control and stability control and prevents from it ever being reengaged - which is a possibility when you turn off traction & stability control using buttons.

Oh ok... thanks! I am installing this kit
2018-2021 MUSTANG GT CALIBRATION W/COLD AIR INTAKE AND THROTTLE BODY| Part Details for M-9603-M8B | Ford Performance Parts

and it looks like that connector is going to need to be relocated for maf harness to connect wihtout additional strain. I'll probably never mess with unplugging that.

Awesome that the instructions don't match the supplied parts, but I think I can make it work.
MAF harness gets little strained with this kit (I've had it) but you don't need to unplug this connector. If you have no explicit need to turn everything off and make sure nothing comes back on, it's better not to touch it.
