2018 front bumper corner Honeycombs removal?

Ok so, I want to remove and paint the corner honeycomb grills on my 2018. I can't find any information if they're removable or not.

Anyone that has had their bumper cover off have a definite answer to this?

I watched a video on this as they are solid pieces and I plan on making them open to force air into the wheel well (to hopefully help cool the brakes). The take home point of the video was to remove the three bolts of the turn signal and pull it out of the way. This will allow you to access all the tabs to remove the solid plastic pieces. I’ll try to find a link to the video and post it.

That's awesome ty. I was hoping it was clips like the lower grill.

I just took mine out to swap for the mmd ones ..there a bit if a pain .and require you to remove the bumper cover and then take our the turn signals

I wish there was an option for just the triangle plastic piece versus the added plastic that projects forward on the exterior. I may buy a replacement factory set and see if I can open them up with dremel or sanding like with the factory upper grill.

I ordered a factory set. Just painting them gloss and replacing the lower grille with the bullet one in gloss. The mismatch with the gloss grill drives me mad.

For sure. Once I confirm they ordered me the right piece, I'll post a pic and a part number.

Cost was $170 CAD

My stock 19 has has the holes already open

Do they sell the bottom only? I was planning on taking the facia off to put on the modified grill and velossa tech snorkels in. Makes sense to wait for the bottom grill if I’m going to do it. Could probably get a ZL1 tow hook too. You guys love spending my money for me. Smh

I looked at auto nation white bear lake and the bottom is around $224+$11shipping. If the quality is good of the eBay version it just makes sense to get upper and lower. I’m looking forward to hearing about how it looks.
