Just got a Ford UK letter in post saying part of loom could be near manifold on battery side U.K. cars
That it could short out melt prevent start, smoke or catch fire
Great on Christmas Eve
Called Ford can’t do anything till 9th Jan
My local dealer said 2.5 hr inspection to check for problem

Anyone else had this

I recently needed a part for the active exhaust loom
Took 2 months to arrive so this worries me in advance

I’m very pi@@ed off as can’t risk using car now

It sounds exactly like the issue they had with the early shipments to NZ at the end of 2015 and early 2016
