UK Ford Approved Eibach lowering Springs fitting cost -UK

Hi, has anyone had their local Ford UK install the MUSTANG EIBACH®* SUSPENSION-LOWERING KIT ? Its listed on Ford UK website as around £160 for the springs. I was wondering what Ford dealers charge for the fitting and how long it takes ?

Ford recommends that you use a qualified technician to fit parts. Damage owing to incorrect fitment is not covered under warranty, so I’m presuming its best to get ford to fit them? I like the look of the slightly lowered cars, I’m not interested in any radical coil-overs or similar , so thought the 20mm lowering would be perfect, as the stock car does seem to sit quite high.

Don’t bother with Ford, of course they’re going to say they should fit them, at a premium, apart from needing to undo the subframe bolts to get the oe rear springs out it’s very simple, I did mine myself but any half competant mechanic could do it easily, then check the alignment, I needed camber bolts to get the front back into spec

one more thing to add, make sure the bump stops are trimmed down, the car rides on them otherwise , mine was hugely better after I reached in and took about 20mm off them with a Stanley blade. The Ford supplied ones are the only Eibachs that don’t come with new bump stops

Thanks. IMHO The advantage of using Ford is they are an approved fit ie when time comes to sell , it helps. I think !
