Figured this was worthy of it's own thread instead of mucking up the build it, race it, break it, fix it, thread.
We just got the built motor and whipple put back in my fiance's '18 late last week. It seems to be running good and everything seems to be in order aside from this odd rattle from 1500-2000 rpm. The car will do it while driving as well as in park and free revving. We initially left the cage around the DI pump off because we couldn't get the FPR and lines installed with it there. Put the cage back on last night thinking it was DI pump noise and that the cage provided pressure on the foam over top of the pump and it would dampen it but no change. It sounds oddly similar to a compressor running in an airbag set up.
It's getting exhaust work fabbed up now but any suggestions of where to look to track down the noise once we get it back?
Thanks in Advance!
