2018/2019 production schedule

I don't claim to know much about all this, but based on the following post on BO, if you ordered an '18 GT with Performance Pack and manual transmission, and you haven't received a scheduling confirmation yet, I'm thinking you better start looking for one on a dealer lot somewhere or prepare to order a '19. I asked if this was also for GT's with PP2, but haven't gotten a response yet.

Well, I got an email today from COTUS that my car is now "IN ORDER PROCESSING" and it now has a VIN and shows up in COTUS tracker with a ordered date of 3/19/18. This is for a 2018 Mustang GT with black accent package/ 301a. So I think at this point it is safe to say mine will be built? I cant believe its already showing up in COTUS 3 days after the order being placed. I heard of people saying it took weeks for theirs to show up in COTUS.

I had my vin very fast also, few days, like 4. Ordered 26/02, devilevery around mid april

Well that confirms it, 2018 banks are still open. Congrats man!

2018 order banks close today (3/22). Final scheduling will be complete in two weeks (4/5). GT w/ PP1 and manual transmission are balanced out and no more will be scheduled at this point. GT w/ PP2 is still possible. We will know for sure by 4/5 if any outstanding orders are going to get scheduled/built or not. This is from what I believe to be a pretty good source.
