Gotcha, that’s great to hear! And thank you for working to take some more pics. Definitely no rush. These look like a great alternative to having to replace the entire exhaust just to change out the tips.
That was my thought. I love the active exhaust with the steeda h pipe. There really was no need for me to change further. I would prefer the tips up and further back a smidge but that's just me being picky. I think I can adjust some of that with my h pipe clamps so I think once I do that, I'll be pretty content.

I'll get you those pics in a few hours when I get back from work.

That’s not too bad imo. I’d expect it to be out a bit further but I didn’t want it to be obnoxiously long if that makes sense.

Did you end up having to use the wrap to get them snug? And one last question, do the tips have enough clearance between them so they’re not touching/rubbing?
Here's a couple more pics.

Awesome, thank you! Those look really good. For a relatively small investment, they make a big difference.

Thanks. I think so. Like I said, I do think it may require some manual adjustment but either way, it's likely worth the investment.

Ok now that I wasn't a hothead, I got these installed pretty snug.

I originally tried the bolt on tips but one day on the motorway one of the tips came loose and it wasn't until I got home that I realized that it was just hanging limply at an extremely lame downwards angle. They otherwise did look good. I went out and bought weld on tips of which there is a bit of a variety available. Small cost for an exhaust shop to measure and cut off the OEM tips and weld these on.

These look great. I noticed as it gets hotter out my tips tend to move more. Really considering this. To be clear you cut the original tips and welded these on? Are they stainless?

Hi Mike. Yes they are stainless double wall done in black chrome. They are Chinese brand Zetti. When I took them to the recommended local exhaust shop I found that they had very similar in stock already.
And yes they cut the oem tips off and welded the new on. No going back. I understand that some shops take the active actuators off prior to doing this.

Definitely need to do this.. I’m more than satisfied with my active exhaust + Steeda h-pipe setup but the stock tips are HIDEOUS

This looks clean! I'm thinking about going this route with my exhaust tips. What were the measurements for the new tips you bought? inlet/outlet diameter, length. Did any issues come up during the weld or was it just straight forward; measure, cut, weld?

See my supplier link. 3inch in 4inch out. No issues but the exhaust shop did know their job.

Reviving this thread, has anyone found alternative/new solutions? I really wanted to have something similar to Mach 1 tips on mine, but haven't found tips yet. I think PKs' one is the closest I have ever seen.

For those using only the bolts and no welding, is it still holding up to this date?
