I'm going down to a dealership today and order a 2018. Don't really understand why people are so obsessed with the looks, all I care about is the technology inside the car which can not be easily replaced, at least not as easy as changing the front fascia.
I think the 2017 has a better body, but like you I will probably go with a 2018 because it has better personality overall.

As in not enough to encourage me to upgrade. Also not a fan that the Mustang is being turned into another European car. The irony is that Ford think they need to be more European with the Mustang to appeal to Europe when in fact we want more Mustang.

Yes I yawn when I see another Audi/Merc type car on the road. If people want that type of thing then fine but i don't see the point in buying a Audi imitation when you may as well buy an Audi. Ford needs to keep its niche in the Mustang for it to survive, which is fun, uncomplicated, fast motoring. They should be trying to emulate the amazing GT350 with the GT, not Audi with 10 speeds, quiet exhausts, digital displays etc.

I love how the butt hurt are calling the exhaust "quiet" instead of loud.
It's a choice you pick on the fly. 4 choices at that!

Oh and you can get as uncomplicated as you want. Just don't check all the boxes and you get a big V8 and a manual tranny and no frills.

Again, that "choice" thing!:headbonk:

Judging by the outstanding sales of the S550, you're in the minority

Ford is finally doing it right by chasing a sports car instead of bulky pony car look

Doesn't Ford make the 10 speed, active exhaust, digital display and magnetic ride optional?

Last I checked, you can still get a bare-bones 400+ hp V8 with a manual tranny for much less than its Euro counterparts. There are Mustangs tailored for everyone's taste :ford:

Are you really that Thick?
You do know how it works...or do you not?
Of course I know how it works this is really just
old tech (if you want to call it that). No need to
get personal, some people on this forum take
discussions here a little bit too serious. Lighten up
Life is to short. After all we are doing here is expressing
our opinions and you what they say about that, right?

Now if you want to throw insults I can really lay it on thick.
So be careful what you ask for. ;)

FYI - Quiet for exhausts is really a subjective word used here.
I am sure you can see many posts and threads started by users
who can prove my point. So who is being thick here?

Complete Borla Exhaust System - Headers & all - Sport or Touring. Or Active
Hey Airfuel I post comments that are from a different perspective that yours
probably but that's ok man. Different strokes for different folks.

2018 Mustang Buyers or Would Be Buyers are too sensitive. I know a lot of
2015-2017 Mustang owners don't like all the changes, but remember in the
end everyone has different tastes and choices to make. After all we are all still
S550 owners right?

I like the '15 and especially the GT350, did I not make it clear above?
I didn't read much of thread tbh

We'll see how Ford does though. They've been absolutely killing it with the S550 and people like you even grew to love it. I think they will continue to do great.

People around here are conservative and like what they know and spent their money on. New is better in most every case.
