You don't know if you have a low priority for sure. First, the priorities only effect the orders from that one dealer and for that one model of car. So you would need to know the priorities of all Mustang orders from that dealer. So a 10 would mean all later orders and lower number unscheduled previous orders would be built after yours. But the same MIGHT be true regardless of the number if they choose to never use a lower number for other orders.

Throw in the fun of parts holds (totally invisible to us), block builds, etc. and if becomes really hard to know when our cars are going out the door

If you pay attention to the Brits and Aussies (in their regional sub-forums), you can get a pretty good handle on when a block build of Right Hand Drive cars is getting cranked out ;)

How is everyone ordering these cars blind? I'd like to see the colors and stuff before I make my decision. I"m asking because Ford hasn't updated the build site to the 2017 models yet.
I was desperately trying to order a 2016, but I've been held up by the bank so now it's looking like I'll be ordering a 17.

My color comes on the escape, explorers, fusions, f150. Its the first year its being offered for mustangs. Ive seen it on their other vehicles. What more do i need to see?

I heard that they were getting a new front end as well. Has anyone else heard this? I'm pissed because I really wanted the 16, it would have been 50 years from one car to the other.

Nothing has changed on the exterior. Just some upgraded wheel packages were offered. A few colors were removed and some new colors added. Also one touch for the windows

Now all I have to do is to decide if I want white or the magnetic grey. I've seen the car in both, and I like them both. The rest of the options I want are

Premier Trim Red Line

I've only seen the color combo of the magnetic grey with the red line, I haven't seen a white on red yet. Both I think would look very sharp.

the only thing different on the one i ordered is the first time white platinum metallic is available on a mustang. we have that color on our fusion now and love it. we have oxford white on the ecoboost mustang we are trading in, so really not much difference. i have sync 3 in my GT350 which will be nice on the GT we ordered, and we already had a 15 GT that we traded for the GT350, so there wont be any surprises for us. Our dealer told us anyways if we dont like it for any reason when it does arrive, we dont have to buy it. we never have had to give any deposit when ordering since we have bought so many cars from them.

I don't see anything about removing the blinkers in the cowls. They did remove them though correct?

I don't know if they did or not. I did read that on this site that they could be missing. I haven't been able to find that anywhere on the net yet. I guess we have to wait another month or so to find out.

yes they removed them from the hood for 2017. its on page 1 of the order guide under exterior on major product changes "integrated turn signals deleted from the hood vents on GT"

As of a few days ago I have a VIN for my 2017. However, when I plug the VIN into www.cotus.ford.com, the website returns the following message: "A matching vehicle could not be determined. Please contact your dealer to get status updated about your order."

Usually I'm the same way. I want to see it in person first. But I thought back and while I have my favorites, there hasn't been a blue on a Mustang I didn't like. So I ordered.

Beyond the exterior color, nothing is different from the 15's I test drove.

The salesman emailed me yesterday. I guess the build for mine is scheduled the first week of July. I can't see anything on COTUS yet.
