Not that is really matters, since priority codes and other things tend to make the process decidedly non-linear (i.e., not FIFO), but still curious to know, nonetheless.

I ordered my car on 10/30. Priority code 12.

I don’t think that criteria are the sole determining factors when to schedule the build. I think some of it has to do with the dealer’s inventory and other orderes. I saw that somewhere

Thanks to Tomster, I just lucked into an open allocation for an '18 R. Got my order confirmation yesterday with priority code 14. Supposed to be a quick build, as it's a base car (i.e, no electronics pack) so it has to be completed before the mandatory back-up camera law goes into effect at the end of April.

Hoping to have a VIN in the coming days - we'll see!

I placed my order September 14, 2017. I have a priority code of 10.

I have read that elsewhere too. The dealer I am getting mine from is a somewhat smaller dealership with few allocations I would assume compared to the larger dealerships with more volume.

Surprisingly, i just got an update on COTUS. Now I have a delivery date. Sooner than I expected. Awesome! It is already a great weekend

BTW, has anyone else used COTUS checker. You load in your order number and dealer code and it automatically notifies you of amy changes to your order.

When I saw it, It really surprised me since your car was in COTUS a week before mine and your delivery was 3/31. I was initially expecting a Mid-April delivery date

Moved to “in production” today. And they moved up the estimated delivery date to 3-25

Frozen, I think our cars are going down the line together. Mine moved to “in production” today also. My EDD has been removed so there is no EDD as of now but my window sticker was made available as of late last night.

I’ve seen several posts from others where the EDD shows up then is removed. Is there any pattern? Does the date move up or does it get pushed farther out?

Ok COTUS updated again this evening. EDD is back at 3/15/18.

Mvfjet, my blend date is 120180219....does that mean my blend day is 2/19?

So I contacted my dealer today to figure out the status on my car. He claims they are "awaiting for them to release the allocation hold"

I don't quite know what to make of this. Maybe because it is a smaller dealership that their allocations come AFTER the big stores?

Was your guys dealerships big with many allocations?

I also ordered mine from a small dealer and he said it will go in production in spring or early summer. Yes the big dealerships which give more sales to ford are given preference.
