So I'm looking into power adders, and stumbled upon 2 options: Procharger and vortech. Procharger had the complete kit for 5300, but Vortech has a "DIY" style, where you'd need to buy seperate parts. This however has the advantage of more flexibility in the build. The entry level vortech supercharger without any additional parts is 3700 (I haven't added on the costs of the other required components). Which option is better in terms of being cost efficient?

I would be more inclined to go with pro charger unless you are confident in doing Diy/fabrication work.

Second problem becomes tuning with the Vortech kit. Some experienced tuners have struggled with the 2015+ V6 FI tuning.

I am really curious to see just how pro charger managed to do it.... I don't know exactly but their kit must include a new MAP sensor or they somehow managed to tune for boost on the OEM sensor.

I am too after how many problems Super Six ran into and they were pretty dedicated for awhile.

The Procharger kit includes an upgraded MAP that can read boost. I love my Procharged V6.

415whp/351wtq on a Mustang Dyno that reads low. If you are a manual you do need to budget for a new flywheel as the stock dual mass flywheel will not last long.

completely stock dyno
