I have a 2016 V6 Mustang with 300 mile and brand new stock Hancock tires. When I give it gas making a turn the whole back comes out. The traction control is on and the dealer says its okay. I know something is wrong. I had a 2015 V6 mustang and the car gripped the road and was very difficult to make the back end come out at all in fact the only way was to take off traction control. Can anyone tell me if they have this problem.

Sounds like you have a good tight LSD. It will loosen up over time, don't sweat it.

What does that mean LSD? Why would the back end come out so easy?

It's normal. You're driving a rear wheel drive sports car. Most people LOVE that the cars will do this. Traction control is designed to allow a certain amount of slip before kicking in.

If you don't like it then quit stabbing the throttle around turns.

The back end comes out easy BECAUSE IT'S A 300 HORSEPOWER REAR WHEEL DRIVE SPORTS CAR.

Colder temperatures will also cause tires to not grip as well.

Are your gear ratios the same between 2015 and 2016? Did your 2015 have the same tires?

There are a lot of variables here.

My 2015 V6 mustang had exactly the same tires and gears and the car gripped the road and was very difficult to make the back end come out. I am all for doing donuts but I can see a clear difference. Does your mustang's back come out if your pulling out of a turn and give it gas? Its dangerous and it sucks in the rain! My 2015 was incredibly hard to make the back end come out! I would have to take the traction control off! This not a 500hp car its a V6!

Yes, if I stab the throttle in a turn the tires will spin. Especially in the rain. Because of this, I don't apply throttle in a turn. Does your dealer have another 2016 V6 on the lot you can test drive to compare? Did you take anyone at the dealer for a test ride to show them what it's doing?

Honestly though, if there were any faults with the system then the light on the dash would light up and there would be codes set that the dealer could check. Traction control doesn't just "not work" without triggering a warning light.
