There's a light blue Petty Mustang at the Ford dealership near my house. I believe they want $99,000. Somebody's hittin' the pipe too much.

The sticker price of the car before the upgrades is $41,275 so the cost of the car now is almost three times the price of the original price. I don't see that much in the car that makes it almost $80,000 more. I think most people will buy a GT350 before they buy this car.

Hopefully NOBODY would consider buying it. There are so many better options available for that price that would drag that car all over while it looked ugly.

so another mustang with the same old tired TVS supercharger that EVERYBODY USES, a $80 shiftknob from EPCO (like everyone else as well) and then aftermarket wheels, a nascar inspired sheetmetal spoiler and a "unique" looking rear valence with someone's catback.

either the income of my house is too much so i'm skewed or this is just another car that someone can build themselves in their driveway over a weekend.
What does your statement have to do with the "income of your house"?

Hmmm really ugly, and parts that you can purchase and install yourself with a incredible markup? Yeah, no thanks. I'm slowly building my Mustang over time, with still a lot in my head , but it will still come out nowhere near what this monstrosity costs! Lol

Brian Johnson from AC/DC went to Petty's garage and did part of his show on the new Petty Mustang (Brian Johnsons Cars that Rock).

He took it out for a drive with Petty (the car was insane) and after they got back to the shop, Brian bought that very car on the spot, signed the paperwork on camera. He said it was so impressive that he had to have it and was not leaving without it.

I mean, he could afford (and has driven/owned) many high performance cars but he bought a Mustang - that's pretty damn cool...

Autocorrect made me it's bitch. I can't even remember what I was trying to say, lol. It happens when you reply with a smartphone.

I'm fine with my run of the mill 16 GT. The price is insanity. As a dealer, I'd be ashamed to have it in my showroom with anything like that number on it.

I looked at 7 to 8 dealers all over Northern VA and even the Richmond area back in March when i was looking for my GT, and most of them had a Petty car. They varied in price from high 50's to over 90k depending on the ADM. Same car, same options, just different colors. Other than the wheels and the blower the car is a wreck!! The center exit exhaust is terrible.

My friend has one here near Richmond, VA and it is a nice car. I actually got him and his car into the infield at RIR and had Richard Petty take some pics with the car. Good times !
