GOT THAT STICKER!!!

I have received my window sticker! Everything looks great (i.e. no mistakes). With a build date of the 3rd and a delivery date of the 24th. I am hoping for the 23rd if the train can catch a tail wind lol. I got loose on Black Fri/Cyber Monday. Check out my build:

Congrats! Welcome to the forum AND to the "waiting world". Sure hope you didn't either run out of room or run out of money yet. If you have, it's gonna be a L-O-N-G 23 days!

That is all...

Thank you Waldorf! I can always find more room lol. Money is tougher, the phase 1 budget is exhausted, the phase 2 and 3 is in escrow :-)--phase 4 well that's going to get Xpensive!

Well, you can't take it with you. The Pharaohs of Egypt tried and couldn't. And they were supposed to be gods. Just be sensible on Christmas Day and spend it with family... not in the garage all day installing goodies on the car! :D

Have you been keeping in touch with Deysha (FordServie) here on the forum? She is the absolute, tip-top, best there is!

Been busy at work so it took the first 6 weeks after I got the car to install all the stuff I had piled in the garage. So for a week, I drove it and didn't have to do anything. Started Round 2 last week... got an order already, and more still on the way. Maybe I'm The Grinch... Merry Christmas to me. ;)

Best of Luck!

I have been staying in touch with Deysha. I have been trying to walk the thin line between regular updates and annoying her lol. She has really done my dealer's job for him! Do you have a build thread started? I would like to see it!

My dealer was up front with me, but Deysha would either confirm it (so they weren't BSing me) or actually be ahead of the curve. Gave me a great birthday present in September without even being asked or hassled - the link to my window sticker. Great gal!

What options did you get? I just bought a base with Recaros, PP, and glow in the dark yellow. Still have that old fart mentality: If it doesn't make it go faster or make it more reliable, I don't need it." Actually did try a CD in it then listened to the radio for a total of about 10 minutes to make sure it worked. Just don't care for that noise interfering with the sound of the machine. ;)

No build thread, I really can't keep track of what I've got now or sufficient time to install what I've got. Only pics are in the Wheels & Tires sub-forum in the thread "MRR Design Flow Forge FS01 info". Post is on page 13 (I think?). It sure ain't as good lookin' as the Ferrari, but it'll do.

Yer gonna have one helluva Christmas if your ETA holds!

Ordered my new commute tool on 11/21. After 185,000 miles in my 2003 Focus ZX3 2.3 (145 mighty horses, lol), it's time for an upgrade. Sure, the Focus still runs strong, with like-new compression, and still gets 30+mpg, despite the way I flog the poor little beast, but my stepdaughter's awful Chevy Trailblazer finally gasped its last, and the Focus will be hers, so there will be a hole in the fleet that needs filling...

After consideration, I've ordered a '16 Mustang V6, Ingot Silver, manual transmission, 051A package, spoiler delete, 3.55 axle, and spare tire. After comparing the EB PP to the V6, it was tough to justify the cost difference for a commuter car. While the V6 is a bit softer (good for the two hours a day I spend on the road), the engine note is nicer, and the power delivery is more in line with what I like. Ideally, I'd want leather, but obviously that's out. So, this will be my budget ride for the next 150-200K miles. Can't wait until it's delivered.

After finally driving these cars at length, I do have to say that I'm very impressed with how well they emulate the European idiom of solidity and handling--very much in line with the BMW 4-Series. Even without the PP, the dynamics are remarkably solid.

Great choice! You've considered "needs" before wants. The 3.55's should liven it up a little too! I had always looked at needs first in a car... except this last one. Gas ain't gonna be cheap forever, but I ain't gonna live forever either.

Seems like they've gotten "vendor problems" straightened out at Flat Rock, and you'll probably get it just after the 1st of the year.

Happy New Year!

I was tempted by the base Mustang because of the bang for the buck, but in the end I went with a ruby red, black top, black accent, premium package, 3.55s, with redline Recaros and nav. I didn't op for the upgraded stereo and all those bells and whistles. In my opinion that stuff just adds weight and things to break as the vehicle gets older! I really do hope my ETA holds, but I spoke to the dealer today and I won't actually be able to take delivery of it until the 26th, but I will get to see it and sit in it if it arrives on the 24th...

Sounds like a really nice setup. 3.55's will be sweet. The 3.73's in mine are a little too steep with the manual in town. 1st and 2nd are gone right now. Make a left turn, and I'm in 3rd before the car gets straightened out. 3rd, 4th, and 5th are FUN on the highway though.

Are you sure the dealer will be open that Saturday? If so, there will be probably be a lot of pissed off employees there that day (except your saleZman). They don't get paid until the paperwork's done. And don't forget a few pics!

Now the wait... the horror!
That is all...
