Whoa, pump the brakes! Lezek, does that include the Performance pack? I calculated 33,713 on x-plan?
Break out:
29,797 Base GT invoice
+ 85 Mats invoice
+ 2,227 Performance pack invoice
+ 40.64 Fuel charge (~2.5/gallon?)
+ 523 Adv Assessment
+ 900 Dest
=33,572.64 total invoice
Then my understanding of x-plan is .4% less than invoice for fords and 275 dealer fee, so:
33572.64*.996+275=33,713.35 ...iff im not mistaken

Now the 750 offer I wasn't aware of, can you elaborate on that one, I'm interested as well?

Also, I don't know what all games are played b/t Ford and the dealerships, but I know that the invoice price is pretty goosed. I don't think they would be selling cars for "below invoice" if they couldn't make money, so I just take that as a benchmark...

I just received one good for any 14/15/16 model (besides GT350, Raptor, Ford GT, or 50 anniversary) which my dealer applied to my 16 GT order.

Interesting, what brochure did you get that in? I just submitted for a 2015 Mustang (no 2016 brochure yet) and a 2016 Fusion brochure.

I requested a ton of them, mustang, focus, fusion, trucks. Got a few coupons, then none, so I stopped requesting. Lucky enough I received my coupon on my birthday June 22nd. It came in a 2016 F-150 booklet.

Name matters. The name on the certificate must match the name on who's purchasing the car.

Sorry, I went by what you said - only option were floor mats. Didn't notice you also had performance pack in that price. In that case it is a good deal.

whew, I thought for a second there I had missed something. My bad, shoulda stated the mats as an additional option. That price was pretty much from USAA car buying service if anyone was interested. They had pre-negotiated prices for '15 cars that the dealers had on the lot; I wanted guard so the dealer agreed to order a '16 for nominally more...plus I figure the difference in price would easily be recaptured on any resale so it was a pretty easy sale.

Have people been getting invoices with x-plan price on them? My salesman said that the x-plan will just be dealt with when the car arrives and that he can't get an invoice with x-plan pricing for it until after it is built. I've quit trusting much of what any of the salesman at my dealership tell me because they seem to know about as much as my 5 year old niece when it comes to ford orders and mustangs in general.

On the flip side, the name/address combo on the certificate is in the system within 24h, so you don't have to wait for the brochure to arrive. Your dealer can tell you right away if you've got it and apply it towards your purchase.

Great.... Maybe this is something Deysha can help me get my hands on? The sheet I got after they submitted my order only had MSRP and invoice on it.

When i ordered my car the dealer said that they had an allocation that they would use to order. Order is listed as: pri 10, retail. Have http://www.cotus.ford.com/ bookmarks but it has only been a week don't expect anything to post for a few weeks.

Since the dealer is using an allocation does that mean earlier or later delivery?
