A dealer allocation should be safe. The reason the "PRIORITY" field was blank is because a dealer allocation is technically the dealer ordering a car for themselves for sales lot inventory...This is going to be very interesting.
I placed an order on 1/29 and the dealer indicated that they thought I would see it mid to late April. I started questioning the dealer last week because, to date, no VIN has even been assigned to the order. They informed me that I had one of two allocations. Yesterday I asked to for a copy of the DORA so that I could see what “PRIORITY” number was assigned. When I received the copy, I noticed that there was no “PRIORITY” field on the DORA. Contacted them again and they admitted that they were just given two allocations last week just before I called. If the order bank was closed the 1st week of March, will they still process my order? Inquiring minds want to know. :shrug:
