2016 mustang gt pp - Brake Squealing

Hi, I just got my 2016 GT. Its the performance pack with 6800 miles. I was just recently driving and heard a loud squeaky sound from what it seems like the brakes. I'm very ocd about the car and was wondering if there is a solution to this problem or if it's common with these cars?

I had been driving for awhile before I started hearing it. Sometimes it's not there and other times it's very obvious. I noticed especially when parking.

If the pp brakes are not within operating Temps they do squeal.

Pp brembos will make noise. Normal

I had a brake squeal from the fronts after about 3K on my 2016 GT PP. Only happened sometimes, while braking, at any speed. Took it to the dealer. They cut the front rotors and put on new brake pads. 4K since and no brake noise once so ever!

Thank you!! I'm taking it to carmax next Thursday and if they can't find a solution I'm taking it to Ford.

Mine only very rarely squeal, and they haven't done it in quite a while. I think it may just be that you need to bed in your brakes.

Mine sometimes squeak, but usually only at low speeds and always when they aren't warmed up. Kinda how brakes work, especially performance brakes. Go see youtube videos or actual race cars. They sound like they're dragging anchors.

They will. Around 3-4k they will start.

Too late if he's at 6800 miles. But yes usually this. Don't believe it will affect performance but it will be annoying.
