I am also sad about the color choices. Nothing is very appealing to me. I would have already bought one if grabber blue was available. Gotta have it green is an amazing color too
I hear ya!!!!
Just take a look around while on the freeway...everything is white, black, grey, silver, tan....where has the color gone America?

Even here in Cali- the "look at me state"...just try finding a Race Red on the lot....

My nearest dealer has 3 race red in their 'extended inventory', whatever that means. I'm trying not to go look, because I want to hold off buying at least until my daily driver is paid off...

Probably waiting till the "custom orders" are delivered so people just dont cancel their order to get a 2016 I guess...

My wish for 2016 would be to offer spoiler or spoiler delete with the performance package. I also would like an option of black or silver for the wheels on the performance package. I know some people like them, but I can't stand black wheels. I hope they are a recent fad that will eventually go away.

It won't happen in 2016, but I would also like the GT350 lower hood line on the regular mustangs.

+1 on the hate of black wheels. Looks like something a 12 year old would do. It just shows that we're too old. As a side note: Last night there was a guy getting out of a C7 next to us when we pulled into a Chili's last night. He was really checking out the 'stang! He said: "I think I made a mistake, I should have bought one of those". I said: "yeah, you could have two of these for what that cost!"

An option already exists for swapping out your black PP wheels for nickel luster wheels.... and best part, it is free.

Are you sure?

I've tried a few virtual builds on the Ford website, and whenever I virtually swap out the wheels on a PP equipped Mustang for the Nickel Luster wheels, it automatically removes the PP!

I haven't tried the virtual build but ordered one.

The 2016 Ordering Guide lists the nickel wheels option in the Performance Pack row option code 67G.

Both black and nickel PP wheels in the guide are listed as 67G so I hope they are free because my dealer and I agreed they were an either or kinda thing.

My DORA has them in my order with no extra charge but I noticed someone here said the the dealer tried to charge him extra for nickel:shrug:

Awesome. Thanks for the link. I shouldn't be surprised by the virtual build. I neglected to mention that I specified the 50 Year Appearance Package, and wanted those wheels, rather than the black PP wheels. The 2016 won't include the 50 YAP, obviously. Duh! LOL

It would be nice if they offered that trim in a "Heritage Package" or something to that effect. Still, it's promising that Ford is now appearing to be willing to offer alternatives to the PP wheels.

You can't "build and price" a 2016 model year Mustang on the Ford website yet.

Nickel PP wheels need 2 options codes. The base PP is the same price but the second code bumps the price a little.

And no, you can't use B&P on Ford's website for a '16 yet. Those nickel wheels are *NOT* PP wheels.
