So my dealer and salesman are clueless. Talked to FP today and all I could really get is that those of us that ordered an "R" are screwed. They said not one single R has shipped at all. I put a deposit down in June and still don't even have a VIN.

I get impatient at times, too. I think that once they start getting built, they are going to go fast.

Agree 100% and the wait really doesn't bother me. I enjoy the anticipation to be honest. But I would like a little information like "hey all the R models are waiting on "x" to be finished and they will be shipping, we apologize".

You know... Something to that effect?

Well I hate to burst your bubble, but places in Michigan got hit with five inches of snow yesterday. I hope to God they don't use salt in that lot. Makes me scared of the condition of the cars when they arrive. Do they ship in closed trucks or open? If open, they could arrive down South or West with salt all over them eating away. I always look to the positive :-)
I live 30 minutes from where they are sitting and I've been waiting like everyone else and it's annoying as hell. But I can assure you...we have no snow. It's been in the high 60s to hi 70s here. No snow yet. And if I don't get mine soon our nice Indian summer will be gone and all I'll get to do is stare at it in my garage.

How do we all know for a fact that they are sitting outside somewhere?

Where else are they gonna be sitting? Mine was built on 10-20-15 and I live 30 minutes from there and I can't even go get it myself. It's been 3 weeks sitting

Hey can you get close enough to take a picture ?
Thanks.
If there are any R's sitting out in the lot... If you move them with temps below 20 degrees the tires will crack. This is no joke it happened last year to the Z06's sitting in bowling green lot. Get them out of there ASAP.

I would really doubt they are sitting outside? In a warehouse yes, but not outside. Photo proof or I don't believe it.

Why would they be inside? It's in a secure fenced area. It's no different then any other year of Shelby or even a vet or hellcat. I see vets sitting by the truck loads at the rail yards everyday covered with car covers outside. As special as our cars are to us, they are still mustangs. Not a 100k or million dollar car.

Ok i live in Michigan and my whole life where it gets as low as -20 below with wind chills I never heard of tires cracking. I mean dry rot yes. I'm a mobile mechanic and I work on large fleets and never did I ever see a new tire crack from cold.

Yep, it was a big problem on the Z06's. As far as I know it only affects the PS2's.

Strange. But it's not that cold here in Michigan yet.
