I'm in the same boat and now not getting a response out of my dealer over the past week! I sent a note to Deysha, but I'm sure she can only do a little at a time.

Deysha told me she gets over 160 emails a day. Thursdays are the best day to get your updates. Hope you get info soon and you can also try FP.

Again, I understand but want to point out - A $60k mustang is expensive...for a mustang. It is what it is at the price that it is because it's built on the same line as hundereds of thousands of other mustangs - they can't reasonably change the production process for just these cars.

I don't want mine to see salt or snow or even dirt but we need to be reasonable. While expensive for a mustang, it's not a hand-built supercar that gets delivered individually in an enclosed trailer.

Actually mine is set to be enclosed delivery ( dealer informed me)
For me it is a work of art and I will drive and enjoy it, but in my world it won't see salt,
So I would prefer that it don't see salt before I even get it.
Rain I understand, little parking lot dust ok, I can take car of that.
But residue salt is a nasty beast, that goes in every little crevice.

I saw an episode of Fast n Loud where they bought a Corvette from a guy's widow. The car was immaculate. She said that he loved the car so much he never drove it. Someone got a classic 'vette in really, really great condition.

Now of course it's your life to do whatever you want, but after I saw that episode I told myself, "no way am I going to be that guy." I plan to use my car (assuming I am able to buy one - it's looking good right now but I'm not going to count my chickens). Mine will see salt, rain, ice, snow, etc. I probably won't drive it every day, but I'm also not going to save it for my widow to sell and someone else to enjoy.

I sold my '14 GT500 with 14,000 miles. Car was a great deal of fun and the best Mustang I have ever owned. I take great care of my cars and professionally detailed every other month. I plan on driving the GT350 until the new GT500 is announced.

The vin report was nice to have ... 25 plus cars are built each day. It looks like the vin report is no more.

The plant is building 25-30 per day. Possibly the member putting the list together is not able to continue. :shrug:
