2016 GT Premium Cranks but Will Not Start

In the last 6 months I had a problem with my GT where it will crank but won't start. My solution was to get out of the car lock it up and then reopen and it will start. However the last time it did this never started up. It had to be towed to the dealer. The dealer kept it a week but could not find any problem with it. In fact it started right up every time they tried.
The problem never happened at home; it was always after running for more than an hour. There are no check engine lights or trouble codes.
Can anyone help me on this since the dealer is clueless.

Sounds like the Camaro almost something getting hot and causing it not to turn on. I think the there was an issue with the starters getting too hot?

Sorry folks but this is all the information I can provide since the dealer ran all the diagnostics they could do and found nothing. Here is a summary of my experience:
- Cranks but will not start. It has done this 4 times in the last six months. Last time it happened the car would not start at all. It had to be towed.
- Too much cranking resulted in starter getting hot and blocked me from cranking until it cooled down. Note display readout: " Exceeded cranking limit".
- Engine was not overheated; may be warm at the most.
- There was no check engine light or notifications displayed. No trouble codes according to the dealer.
- It has never happened when starting cold at home.
- The dealer did a software update just in case. Since I got the car back from the dealer two weeks ago the problem has not reoccurred. But I am afraid of using the car so I have not done a lot of testing. I don't want to get stranded in the middle of the holidays.
- I have never raced the car. The most I have done is going about 130 mph on the highway.
