A dealer friend of mine has 2 Shelby GT 350s coming up for build Feb 15th. One is White, Blue stripes, Technology Package, Car Cover MSRP $58,345 selling price $65845
Second one is Magnetic Metallic, Black Roof, Black stripes, Track Package, Car Cover MSRP $58,040 selling price $65,540

He was originally going to sell like his other local Ford dealers at $10K ADM but would go this route at $7500 ADM if done BEFORE vehicles are delivered to him.

If I were him I'd sell to the other dealer in order to prevent the negative publicity.
lol seriously. The only issue with that is they dont get credit for the sale, so might get dinged on next years allocations

I'm sure most dealers want 50k over but has anyone really paid more than 5k over for a 2016, crazy california excepted? (talking non-R here)

Several non- R's have been sold in the Dallas area for around $10K ADM.

I initially was interested in a GT350 at MSRP or a GT, until I found out first hand how difficult it was to even find the GT350 in my area. Then, learned from one of my local dealers that someone had come in the week prior offering 10k over for anyone that could acquire and sell one to them. Kinda vague on anything else, and that was TALK, but supply/demand would lead me to believe it's a common event.

crazy California also has dealers selling 350's and 350R's at MSRP...maybe that makes California even more crazy.

The negative publicity of selling for what someone was willing to pay? I doubt it.

..and you guys misread the OPs post... He's not selling to another dealer for +$10....

One Shelby down, with the White/Blue stripe Technology GT350 available. Dealer is checking now to find out how many 2017s he will get. Two for 2016 and possibly 2 for 2017 but pretty sure both will be regular GT350s and NO 'R' models.

Go look at the selling prices on eBay and see that there are a lot of them selling for more than the $7500 ADM. You make a choice what you want to pay. It may work out and may not.

$7500 is not a good deal for a gt350.
That's all a matter of opinion. The GT350 is arguably the best Mustang ever built and some people are willing pay up to get the best of the best. I can't afford to do so, but many can, and are doing so.
