Yep, not my first run in with the sheriffs and i have a similar lame seatbelt story from years ago. I think my saving grace was that a city cop pulled me over and it was city limits, plus I am friends with a fellow city cop From a cop family who is a co leader at my son’s Boy Scout troop.
10 over in the wrong lane. Long story short, I got out of it. Was giving an old lady checking her mailbox a wide berth and didn't want to be in the oncoming lane too long, so close to a sharp bend coming. But I was stunned.. a city cop and 2 sheriffs.
Trip from NC to TX, using 93 octane with Stock Tune. All highway, driving about 5-10 over the posted speed limits 70-80mph... EXCEPT in Missisipi. Just as we crossed into the state, a caravan of F-250's 2500's all jacked up, came rolling past. Trailed them at 120mph for most of the state...
MGW short throw race spec is in.
Expected more for the upgrade. I liked the reverse on the OE better. The shift from 1st to 3rd is a lot cleaner, but other than that, doesn't seem like $500 well spent. I do like the pony logo weighted shift knob much better than the OE shift knob's plasticy...
I meet up every Thursday for Breakfast with some co-workers prior to our 8am shift. I got into the office and my buddy who has an SRT Jeep says he was talking on cell to his friend, while riding behind me and his friend said the SRT sounded awesome. He told him that he's hearing my Coyote in...
Took Delivery in February, and turned 15k in September. Taken 2 east coast to mid US round trips and use it as a daily driver 40mi r/t. Still drive it like I stole it, enjoying every mile.
I did have to replace the P-Zero's at 14k... again I like to have fun in it. Other than that, the car...
BF Goodrich
I am down to 3/32 in the rears at the 11.5k mile mark on my factory Pirelli's.
I do drive aggressively, plenty of sideways exits from parking lots, burnouts, etc.. I bought the car for fun and damn if I'm not going to.
Anyway, I just ordered a new set of BF Goodrich G-Force...
I'm back and forth from 87 to 93. I drive normal most of the time and on occasion get into it for show, but I don't race. I just drive it quick at times. I've not experienced anything at 87 that would indicate I had an issue getting on it a bit. Sometimes I feel like throwing 93, if I'm at a...
Out the gate, I lowered my GTPP by 2" with ceramic bumps, and it greatly improves the look and handling is fine. I also put in a ford racing x-pipe with 3" exhaust, keeping stock mufflers...
Those 2 alone were pretty inexpensive and the look and sound of them both attract a lot of head turns...
Maybe one in 10 times, I open the door, sit in the drivers seat, and before I press the go baby go, I hear a slight clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk.. about 1 per second. I look over to the Passenger mirror and it's kind of stuck in a mode where it's trying to set itself as far right as it can and...
MMD by Foose installed. Very pleased with the outcome, set's off the paint work I had done. To each his own, but my ride looked like something was missing without a spoiler.
I initially was interested in a GT350 at MSRP or a GT, until I found out first hand how difficult it was to even find the GT350 in my area. Then, learned from one of my local dealers that someone had come in the week prior offering 10k over for anyone that could acquire and sell one to them...
Refund.... Yeah right.
I'll be buying a few grand worth of taxes
I'd rather buy a new shifter, if I were expecting a refund. But even if... I need to figure out how I'm funding bike week in May.
Woah is me.
The owners manual is a good read! I just bought my car last week, and while I haven't taken delivery, I spent Saturday at home reading through the online owners manual and found myself frequently uttering phrases like "cool" or "awesome" as I learned of some of the interesting features.
