So I'm looking around for a GT and on the ford website the 2016 magnetic looks lighter than the 2017 magnetic, I would be opting to buy the 16 because I could get a better deal so before I do so....did they change the color slightly in any way or is this just a result of lighting in the photo ?

Don't go by the renderings on the website, they're a poor reflection. Magnetic hasn't changed :)

Okay thanks ....I'm not crazy you can tell the difference right? The 17 looks much nicer to me the 16 almost has a brownish tint in that photo lmao

Yeah, they certainly look different. The '17 there looks more like the older Mineral Grey from the late SN95 / early S197 era :)

The '17 is much more representative of the actual color. There really isn't any brown in Magnetic.

I went with Magnetic Metallic...go see it in person.

It's a beautiful, very reflective color. Lots of metal flake... really looks great in the sun light.

Go to a dealer and look at all the colors in the sun and then decide.

The way it is now, we'll never be able to fully appreciate these colors when looking at them on a computer screen. Computer screens only utilize Red, Green, and Blue to make up all the colors we see, so it's very limited. It was hell trying to get a "true" picture of the color of my 2011 Yellow Blaze GT.

Unless you live in AZ and it's constantly covered in a layer of dust lol.

The screenshot kind of reminds me of that brownish color the 370zs have.

Another thing is, if they changed the color, they'd change the name of it as well.
