How's it going everyone, so my question is has anyone figure out how to keep the usb port or the cigarette lighter on the whole time even when the car is off? I know the cigarette lighter stays on for about an hour or so, the turns off automatically. I like to keep my dash cam on in my neighborhood when my car is parked, so I need it to be on all the time unless I unplugged it myself. unless I hot wire it, just seeing if others has done this. Thanks everyone.

I have mine wired into the fuse panel to run after the car is parked.

Sounds like a possibility, have u had any issues with the fuse popping?
I had it done almost a month ago and the fuse hasn't popped once. I even took the car on a road trip from Toronto to Chicago and back. Zero issues so far.

I have a youtube video at home by the shop who did the work for me. You might be able to google it. Look up Lockdown Security, S550 Mustang. Should come up with a video.

They installed a Blackvue DR750S 2 channel for me.

I used fuse #2 & #23 to wire up my Blackvue dash cam with power magic pro.

Isn't there some type of ECU/ECM programming that can be done with Forscan to change the time out?

Ya I heard about that from another gt driver. He said it's through the on board settings, but don't know how to get to it to change it. Would be nice if someone knew, so won't need to spend money to run it the other way.
