This was not an autoX course, we did this in Chatham Ontario for a demo drive. Only the yellow 'stang was manual the rest were automatic... It was alot of fun though!
Wow, how nice!

How do you compare the sound of V6 with EB? Same, better, or much better?

Anything about the lag of the EB?

Anything you would like to share about the cars, anything. Thanks.

The v6 sounds great, pretty throaty exhaust note. The ecoboost sounded nice in person, doesnt sound as throaty, but carries a nice sporty note. 5.0L sounds great ofcourse.

I cant say much about the driving impressions of the cars, but obviously the lighter vehicles were a dream on that course. The 5.0L needed more space to show its true beauty, but thats pretty obvious. The look is incredible, and paired with the driving characteristics makes a great package.

From what I personally gathered, if your on a budget, the base v6 with manual transmission had a huge fun factor and would probably be your best bet.

Thanks! You are reading my mind -- I am indeed on a budget and having an eye on the V6 manual.

Thanks for the info.

I'm looking for a back-to-basics sports car (two doors, RWD, manual transmission, minimal gadgets). The v6 is very appealing to me and we don't hear much about it, so thanks for sharing your impressions.

Hi guys,

I filmed those two videos in Moncton, New-Brunswick. I believe they're the same car as in the first video. The Magnetic GT had the Premium Pkg. (looked really nice!), the silver Ecoboost had the Performance Pkg. & the 50th Anniversary Pkg. (hence the fake gas cap). As said above, they were all automatic, save for the yellow V6.

They also had a black base model GT with the Performance Pkg. on display. It looked really good. In person, the 2015 Mustang looks TINY when parked beside the Camaro & Challenger. Even our '11 GT looked big.

A friend of mine who works at our local dealer got to drive them. He drives my '11 GT auto pretty often, and he said the '15 GT's performance were pretty close. Keep in mind that my '11 have a CAI, Lund Racing Tune, SW Longtubes & O/R X-Pipe & a Magnaflow cat-back. He also said that there is no way a stock V6 can keep with a stock Ecoboost. They were not allowed to turn the Traction Control off.

There was another circuit beside this one where they had the '15 F150 towing trailers against Silverados & Rams.

Cool pics/vids man. Curious what kind of event this was? Interesting mix of cars there.

Did you get to ride in one?

Thanks for the info and additional pictures. What did you think of the sound of the v6 and the EB in person?

It was a training for dealership employees in the new Mustang, F150 and Expedition. Sadly, I didn't get to ride in one.

The V6 is pretty throaty. The Ecoboost has a smoother sound, but under load you can hear a hint of turbo swoosh.

Thanks. I have not yet seen or heard one in person. I'm looking forward to it.

Can you/he elaborate on this? Granted the V6 has less TQ and a bit less HP, but does it really feel that much slower?

I like the meaner exhaust of the V6 (The V8 is not the right choice for me). So I've been really debating which car to get... With one of the biggest concerns being that the EB may sound like a civic pushing me towards a V6.
