Surprised at how good the V6 sounds compared to the E4 and even the V8. A little disappointed that the sound disappeared, wanted to hear the V8 drive by at the end there... :(
I agree! That V6 sounded great next to the V8 and E4... Probably still gonna be to quiet for my taste but it defiantly is worlds better then the stock exhaust on the s197.

That V8 needed a bigger straight.

V6 sounded nice! EB will never sound that good

I think that Ingot was a EB with PP...hardly any exhaust note.

You people have never been to an autocross.

That was NOT an autocross. No club would allow two cars on the same course pointing at each other at that distance. Not one of those cars was being pushed in the slightest. That was some kind of demo ride for pussies.

Hmmm, this really makes me want to go back to a V6 instead of an EB... First world problems.

Haha I have been exactly where you are! As you can see by my signature I have made my choice! :ford:

Nice, yeah I'm having a hard time justifying the EB. I was extremely close to buying a '14 with a V6. It's too bad Ford decided to skip the PP on it.

I was dead set on an ecoboost from the beginning even though I knew I wouldn't like the sound of a 4 as much as the 6... In the end though it came down to just how good that V6 can sound with the right exhaust! As far as real concerns, I plan on having this car for 6 years or about 160,000 miles with the amount I drive... I feel much more confident in a NA V6 at 160,000 then a 15psi boosted 4 cylinder. The only thing I would have wanted out of a V6 PP would have been the 3.31 gears but since the standard final drive of the 15 is 3.15 it is close enough!

Not only does the 3.7 V6 sound Great, did you check out those Optional 18`` Foundry Machined Aluminum Wheels and Tires? Holy Crap! Compared to the Standard 17`` Bright Sparkle Aluminum Wheels and Tires, what an upgrade getting Equipment Package 051A! Even on the EB and GT with their Standard 18`` Wheels, well worth ordering the Foundry Machined Aluminum Wheels as an upgrade with Option # 644 for only $155 extra.

Indeed, I will definitely get the 051A pkg if I go this route. Does anyone have a comprehensive list outlining what the V6 doesn't get (besides premium, and PP).

I noticed on the ford site that the picture does not show the fin antena, but this video does. Anything else? (I actually like the black dash better). I do wish the cloth interior was better, at least EB like.

No Fin Antenna on the Base V6 Fastback/Coupe or Convertible Trunk Deck because no Sirius Satellite Radio included, just a "mute" Button instead. Just the typical Black rear fender mounted Antenna for the Convertible.

This was not an autoX course, we did this in Chatham Ontario for a demo drive. Only the yellow 'stang was manual the rest were automatic... It was alot of fun though!
