I don't want to speak for everybody but I wonder if we (true enthusiast) are just on a different page than Ford marketing. They seem to consistently miss the mark. Just for comparison, Camaro is a bad ass robot in Transformers and Mustang gets a couple of tie dyed T-shirts and corny nostalgic videos:shrug:

Funny thing about art and design is anyone can claim what they do is good. When you hire people to do this stuff you never know what you are going to get so we can't blame ford. These "artists" just put together a bunch of random thoughts and think they made gold. Frankly I am embarrased for them. Looks like some my little pony cartoon drawings.

The shirt I want is that one that some people got in some kind of marketing pack. it was grey with black design and it was badass. Can't remember where I saw it on here. I think it had tire lines on the back?

This is exactly why people with bachelor of arts degrees are always asking "do you want fries with that?"

Ford marketing sucks...

Having said that, yeah...way to take the completely incorrect approach with this car. All of those shirts but the dueling faces are beyond horrible. Maybe this is what they want for the European market or something...I know damned well this isn't anything that America would be interested in. This is just idiotic.

...and we all know that unicorns are far better associations than Transformers, or at least Ford believes this to be so. Might as well just not even try.

Did I just see a freakin unicorn! WTF:confused:
...and after taking another look, not only is there a unicorn..but there's also a donkey at the top for sure and maybe a goat overlapped in the center. Are they trying to insult the Mustang or something? There's literally unicorns and asses surrounding the Mustang logo...why this was allowed to happen is unbelieveable. There's probably a freaking Pegasus somewhere in there too.

Well most of them.

I've been employee in this specific field for 20+ years. Not all of us are at McDonald's ;)

But I agree, if you go into Liberal or Fine arts, then expect to be taking a job doing something you don't like because the chance of you actually getting a job in your field is slim.

I think most people who like to paint, sculpt, draw, etc should do that as a hobby and pick up a career and continue to do what they love on the side and see if they can turn it into a full time gig, then you can quit your day job.
