2015 Mustang Production / Ordering Schedule

Hey guys, just ordered yesterday. Just out of curiosity here...dealer told me 8 weeks. I'm thinking with the Christmas break it'll end up being 10 and that puts me at delivery around 1JAN2015. Am I on the right track here or is there a chance I get lucky and get it earlier?

that's not going to happen. i ordered my car in may. and im looking at a Dec delivery date. you'll probably see your car in Feb.

From experience I can all but guarantee it will be less than 28 weeks, which mine will be. But yeah it should be in the 8-10 week window depending on options (part constraints) It looks like they are pumping cars out pretty quick lately.

GT's are way behind. They are out of engines and problems with cats. I was half asleep last night too but how does that pp Eco coming in compare to your ordered one?

The oneccoming is is a Ingot Manual GT 400a. Not close to what i want.

I went with the base ecoboost, black. only option I added was the black 18" wheels. Hoping parts constraints wont effect me too much.

you have a dealer stock order, it will be there when it gets there.. the retail orders after ok to buy and job one very likely will be delivered before yours.

have you looked to see where in the process you car is?

A couple of dealers in Lexington have one car in, but using them in the showrooms. Not selling them yet.

As far as the dealer name on the back, I thought I would take the NER off the end and just leave the GLOCK on it. Hehe, that's my new security feature!

My car entered production yesterday. Does that mean it is being built at this time or just close. Last time I checked the source page said the 27th but can't seam to find it now. It has been a long 5 months waiting and am sure it will snow before I see it, but still very happy to see progress.

Michigan stang....I too am confused...so if a car goes into Production....is it actually being built? Considering they build on the average over 300 per day..how long does it take to build a single car start to finish. AND....if your car is listed as "in production" and the build date is 7-10 days later....what does it all mean?

Come on 89 Trooper or you others who have already been through the process...give us a clue.
