Mine just got bumped to a build date of 10/17 from a build week of 10/26, I hope they aren't toying with my emotions. :clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2: :ford:

Congrats, but again this is what blows my mind. We have near identical cars ordered. Wouldn't it make sense to run down my TY GT Premium automatic right along with yours?

None of this scheduling business makes a lick of sense to me. None. :(

My dealer switched a dealer stock order to my specs that had a vin and 10/27 build date. Now its a race to see which, dealer stock or retail gets built first. Although I really wouldn't call it a "race", more like watching paint dry. Better than nothing I guess.

Actually watching paint dry is much more exciting.. Even grass grows faster than that stupid status bar moves on COTUS.

Yep you are probably right. It would be more akin to painting a wall and the paint gets WETTER instead of drier as you watch it. (i.e. watching a build week get pushed back by weeks) I won't do this with a brand new model again and may not order ever again either due to this experience. :(

i've had no issues. apparently my dealer knows what theyre doing when they place orders. they made mine priority 10 from the start.

It has nothing to do with the dealer on my part. It has EVERYTHING to do with Ford scheduling and the mucked up Ford Scheduling algorithm they use to schedule build dates. My retail order was a priority 10, now a priority 02. My stock order is a priority 21 and has no real bearing on how Ford schedules build weeks from the looks of it.

I think it was posted somewhere in this forum that it does not rely on just the priority code. There were 3 other factors, like dealer allocation, etc that determines which car gets picked during the lottery.

Yeah, I know that.... but it's the ones who ordered later than I with lower priority...or higher priority t hat get built first because they raised such a damn argument too get theirs done can kick another guy out of his chance of getting a build...

And I am talking about folks months after May ... whatever it turns out to be... hopefully I will see mine in time for Christmas, just learned that the dealer I ordered from really isn't that small after all especially seeing the 2015 on their showroom floor couple days ago

I'm glad you are 99% sure. I'm not. ;) Odds are in favor but its never a guarantee with this system. We will see.

Directed at me? Why because I'm advocating for myself with my dealer? Who by the way has been VERY good to me so far and is going to bat for my business. So far they and the Ford rep have been great to me and I've let them know that. The whole system is cooked I'm just following the pattern Ford sets up. Dealers allow retail orderers to use dealer stock orders and I'm just now getting on that train. That isn't "bitching" at all. Others are in worse shape than my order but there are a TON that are in a far better position. Again, I don't know if your comment was directed at me but it sure seems that way. I will always fight/advocate for my own interests. Doesn't mean for one second that I don't want the same for everyone else either.
